Virtual Healthare for students and scholars

Membership included with our insurance plans!

What makes our Premier Virtual Healthcare Program unique to Students and Scholars?

This product is different because it isn’t at all connected to any insurance policy. It will supplement an insurance plan and save you significant money when you use their services instead of visiting a private doctor’s office, urgent care, or the emergency room. Benefits of this virtual package are:
  • No deductible, copay, or co-insurance. Once the membership is purchased, there is no additional cost for the consultation.
  • No claims to file and no need to search for a network provider.
  • No exclusions to worry about. Unlike a medical policy, there are no policy exclusions or limits for pre-existing conditions, mental health, acne, plus more!
  • Unlimited access to medical providers 24/7/365 by phone, video or app! Convenient for late-nights, weekends, in-between classes, while traveling, when the Student Health Center is closed. No need to worry about lack of privacy.
  • Unlimited visits for teletherapy. Schedule appointments with counselors or psychiatrists for mental health and manage your self-care. Virtual therapy appointments are more readily available with less waiting, privacy, no worries about insurance benefits or network providers, and no out-of-pocket costs.

Telemedicine is provided through MDLive, who has the nation’s largest provider network and is comprised of physicians who are Board Certified and state licensed in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics; as well as trained, licensed mental health professionals providing counseling and behavioral health services. MDLive providers have an average of 15+ years of experience and 9 out of 10 people would recommend them to a friend or family. All MDLive providers have their backgrounds checked through the National Physician Data Base (NPDB) and the American Medical Association (AMA) for medical licensure, training and education, work history and malpractice history.
All encounters are digitally archived with the highest level of security and only accessible by the patient and practitioner.
